Job Description
Contract Duration: 2 months

Pay range: $40-$45 an hour (depending on qualification)

  • Individual Federal and State Form 1040 Tax Return Preparation 
  • Possible preparation of Form 709 gift tax returns 
  • Organization and documentation of tax work papers 
  • Scanning of workpapers and working with scanned documents 
  • Exporting of essential tax data 
  • Expected 40 hours per week, time schedule may be somewhat flexible 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field 
  • Four to seven years Individual 1040 Income Tax preparation experience 
  • Must have 2016 PTIN
  • Proficiency in Go-Systems Individual 1040 tax software is a HUGE advantage 
  • EA or CPA is a plus 
  • Working knowledge in MS Word and Excel programs 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail needed 
  • Strong time management skills needed 
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills needed
