The Customer Service/Order Entry representative plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless and satisfying experience to customers throughout the ordering process. This position is responsible for accurately processing complex and custom orders, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues to maintain excellent customer satisfaction. Acting as the primary contact point, the role requires effective communication and organizational skills to manage multiple orders while collaborating closely with the operations and fulfillment teams. By supporting sales and internal departments, the representative ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment, contributing to strong customer relationships and the company’s reputation for quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using standard CRM and order management software.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, or chat, providing product information and order status updates.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and fulfillment teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on schedule.
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Manage manual and digital order entry processes for complex and custom orders.
