Job description

Order Entry Representative
Location: Houston, TX
We're looking for a Order Entry Representative to join our team and provide outstanding support to our customers and internal teams. In this role, you'll be a key point of contact for order processing, customer inquiries, and service coordination while helping ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and enter sales orders for fuel, tanks, services and special projects with accuracy and detailed notes
  • Receive telephone calls and handle caller inquiries in a professional manner
  • Coordinate customer deliveries with other terminals
  • Communicate with sales representatives and dispatchers regarding customer needs
  • Other related tasks as assigned by manager

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Reside withing reasonable commuting distance
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
  • Minimum one year's experience in a high-volume data entry and customer service environment
  • Minimum one-year recent phone experience in a corporate environment communicating with customers
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word programs
  • Must be able to type minimum of 30 WPM
  • Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Adept at problem solving
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Stable employment history
  • Must be able to pass background screening
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills, must be able to accurately repeat information back to the customer
