Job description

Job Title: Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant – VBCS, OIC, APEX & Payroll
Location: 100% Remote (EST hours)
Type: W2
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders preferred, all valid work authorizations may apply
 
Position Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant with strong experience in Oracle VBCS, OIC, Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, Redwood and HCM integrations. This is primarily a technical role; however, the consultant must possess solid functional knowledge of Oracle HCM processes, particularly Payroll, OTL, ORC and Journeys.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience designing and developing custom VBCS pages, Oracle APEX applications, reports and dashboards. The consultant will work directly with HRIS, Payroll and business stakeholders to understand requirements, recommend solutions and support production users.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Oracle HCM or Oracle ERP technical consulting experience.
  • Strong hands-on development experience with Oracle VBCS, including custom pages, business objects, service connections, REST integrations and application deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, including custom applications, reports, interactive grids and dashboards.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle HCM integrations.
  • Hands-on experience developing and troubleshooting Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, HDL, OTBI and BI Publisher reports.
  • Experience customizing and extending Oracle HCM Redwood pages.
  • Solid functional understanding of Oracle HCM Payroll, including calculation cards, payroll flow patterns, payroll runs, costing, retro pay and payroll troubleshooting.
  • Experience across Oracle Payroll, OTL, ORC, Journeys and Core HR.
  • Ability to work directly with Payroll users, HRIS stakeholders and functional teams. 
  • ​​​Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
