Within the integrated System Finance organization, the Health System Payroll Director will anchor payroll strategy at the enterprise level. The Director Oracle Payroll will support a platform backed by a diversified healthcare delivery network whose core selling points include its massive national footprint, commitment to community-based care, robust innovation strategies, and extensive joint ventures, extending across dozens of states with tens of thousands of employees, numerous community hospital campuses, and many rehabilitation and behavioral health facilities, operating as a for profit healthcare system that blends scale, speed, and agility for continuous improvement.

Reporting to a senior System Finance executive with strong cross-functional ties to HR, IT, and Accounting, the Health System Payroll Director will be supported by a capable shared-services team and collaborative leaders, while the Director Payroll will partner daily with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare professional team to ensure accurate timekeeping, equitable pay practices, service-minded issue resolution, and white-glove support for caregivers and leaders across the hospital.

As the System Director Oracle Payroll, this position will oversee multi-state payroll operations end-to-end, including time and attendance integration, garnishments, taxes, general ledger posting, SOX-quality internal controls, and year-end filings; the Health System Payroll Director will drive Oracle Payroll optimization (Fusion/Cloud or EBS), automate workflows, build dashboards and KPIs, strengthen compliance (FLSA, DOL, state/local), standardize policies, lead vendor governance, and coach a high-performing team to deliver accurate, on-time payroll at enterprise scale.
