Key Responsibilities

Establishes and monitors production using metrics/budgets through systems, and initiates appropriate corrective action as needed and based on results. Establishes and controls project schedules, timelines.

Plans and evaluates optimal resource utilization and efficiency of operation to minimize costs and allow for on-time delivery of product to customers. Accurately establishes plant capacity.

Directs, guides, monitors, and evaluates personnel to accomplish specific production and supply chain goals consistent with established operational, housekeeping (5S), and safety procedures and processes. Engage in problem solving in complex situations and process improvements in streamlining work processes.

Leads continuous improvement efforts and projects to refine production methods and processes to produce quality products that meet customer requirements in the most cost-effective manner.

Identifies and pursues new and complex technologies to improve production and cycle time, increase efficiency and resource utilization and maximize profitability.

Works closely with members of Senior and Executive Management to align overall operations development with business needs/opportunities. Promotes an environment of cooperation and trust.

Provides senior leadership, guidance, mentorship, and personal development of his/her direct reports in the areas of daily operational management, systems development, and optimization. And ensures that all direct reports are sufficiently skilled and trained to perform their functions in a high-quality and efficient manner.

Identifies process and quality changes designed to improve manufacturing or department capabilities. Drives Lean, Safety and Quality. Takes corrective action.

Operations Manager - MPS Alta Hillsboro Oregon

Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading all operational activities related to the supply chain and procurement, manufacturing, product quality, and cost control.

The role ensures safe, efficient, and profitable operations while meeting customer requirements for quality, delivery, equipment performance, and regulatory compliance.

The Operations Manager serves as the bridge between engineering, production, field service, supply chain, quality, and customers to ensure operational excellence

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Manufacturing & Production Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations for mask equipment platforms.
• Ensure production schedules are achieved on time and within budget.
• Monitor equipment build progress and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Drive capacity planning to support customer demand.
• Optimize manufacturing workflows and resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to work instructions, engineering specifications, and quality standards.

2. Supply Chain & Procurement Management

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with Supply chain teams to insure supplier performance - in terms of product on time delivery, quality and cost.

• Resolve material shortages impacting production schedules.

3. Installation & Customer Deployment

Responsibilities

• Manage factory acceptance testing (FAT) activities.
• Coordinate shipment, installation, and customer acceptance processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and semiconductor industry standards.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous quality improvements.

• Implement reliability improvement programs.

• Compressed dry air (CDA)
• Process gases
• Power distribution and UPS systems
• Fire detection and suppression systems

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
