This is a leadership role with real operational responsibility. You will guide program managers, ensure compliance, and step in when programs need direct support. If you are comfortable leading in fast-moving environments, solving problems in real time, and holding high standards, this role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact across multiple homes.
What You'll Do
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of a group of residential programs, including quality of care, compliance, staffing stability, and team development.

  • Provide hands-on leadership in employee supervision, service coordination, and behavior support when needed
  • Support recruitment and hiring to maintain fully staffed, stable programs

Health, Safety, and Compliance
  • Maintain safe environments for both individuals and employees
  • Ensure follow-through on incident reporting, behavior plans, and medical oversight
  • Participate in administrative on-call rotation

What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who can manage both people and systems, and who is comfortable being accountable for outcomes across multiple programs.
Required
  • Experience managing a 24-hour residential program or similar environment
  • Experience supervising employees, preferably supervisors or lead staff
  • Strong working knowledge of compliance, documentation, and service delivery expectations

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or related field
  • OIS Instructor, or ability to obtain

Certifications
  • OIS Level IF
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Ability to pass DHS background check

What to Expect in This Role
This is not a desk-only leadership position. Operations Managers are expected to stay closely connected to their programs and teams.
  • You will respond to real-time challenges, including staffing gaps and program needs
  • You will work evenings, weekends, or provide support outside of standard hours as part of on-call rotation
  • You will work in environments that can be fast-paced, loud, and occasionally unpredictable
  • You will be exposed to challenging behaviors and will support teams in maintaining safe and consistent responses

Compensation
  • Starting salary:
$5,000-$5,560/month, depending on experience, education, and qualifications
  • Structured wage tiers based on relevant experience and leadership background
  • Opportunities for wage growth beyond initial placement as you develop in the role

Benefits
  • Up to $1,500/month ($18,000/year) in employer-funded health coverage for you and your dependents
  • Dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 160 hours of flexible paid time off annually for salaried employees
  • Generous vacation accrual with carryover, increasing with tenure
  • Paid holidays and sick leave
  • Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Ongoing training and leadership development
  • Opportunities for advancement within a growing organization

Why Join Us?
  • Leadership role with direct impact on program quality and team success
  • Clear structure for growth and development
  • Mission-driven work supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Collaborative leadership team focused on improvement and accountability
  • Opportunity to improve lives and strengthen teams every day

Ready to make a difference?
