Job description

DD Podiatry is a new podiatry office in McLean, VA specializing in regenerative medicine and aesthetic treatments of the foot and ankle. We are seeking a motivated Medical Receptionist to join us in a practice that is truly unique to the DMV area. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to help grow and develop a practice, participate in an ever-changing field, and grow within the business.


Responsibilities

  • The Medical Front Desk Receptionist is essential in establishing a professional first impression to patients and the public
  • Kindly welcome patients upon arrival and navigate them through the check in process
  • Answer incoming calls and answer any questions patients may have
  • Manage incoming and outgoing faxes
  • Schedules appointments through our medical record system
  • Responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining patient history
  • Manage and maintain schedules of multiple providers
  • Collect in-person and online payments
  • Maintain office inventory
  • Assist with additional office tasks as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and orderly waiting room
  • Turnover exam room between patients
  • Taking part in developing and editing marketing content


Requirements

  • 2 + years admin support in a medical environment preferred
  • Knowledge about medical terminology
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and sales experience is a plus
  • Ability to maintain professionalism
  • Team player
  • Communication skills is a must
  • The ability to uphold HIPAA compliance is mandatory.
  • Able to learn new softwares
