Job Title: OnBase Developer
Location: Onsite - Phoenix, AZ / Raleigh, NC or Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Experience Required: 8-10 Years
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced OnBase Developer with strong expertise in Workflow and WorkView development to design, configure, and enhance enterprise content management solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of OnBase architecture, Unity scripting, integrations, and workflow automation within Agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
OnBase Development & Configuration
  • Design, develop, and maintain OnBase Workflow and WorkView solutions.
  • Write and maintain Unity scripts using Unity API and Automation API.
  • Develop and publish OnBase web services and Message Broker integrations.
  • Perform configuration changes and manage migration between environments.
Forms, Reporting & Architecture
  • Design and configure E-Forms and Unity Forms to support business processes.
  • Develop OnBase reports and support reporting tools.
  • Utilize troubleshooting and migration tools such as:
    • Report Services
    • Diagnostic Console
    • Workflow Doctor
    • Configuration Migration tools
  • Maintain strong understanding of OnBase architecture across Configuration, OnBase Client, Unity Client, and Web Client.
Integration & Database
  • Develop and support OnBase-related APIs.
  • Support DocuSign integration with OnBase.
  • Work with SQL for queries, data validation, and troubleshooting.
Agile & Collaboration
  • Participate in PI Planning, Sprint ceremonies, Scrum meetings, and Retrospectives.
  • Gather requirements and prepare technical specification documents.
  • Conduct walkthroughs, inspections, and design reviews.
  • Coordinate with upstream and downstream systems for impact analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with testing standards and quality processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience as an OnBase Developer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workflow and WorkView modules.
  • Experience writing Unity scripts (Unity API and Automation API).
