Job description

Overview

This position serves as the on-site supervisor for Office Specialists, Office Coordinators and MSA Authorization team members. They are responsible for overseeing all training for front desk and office workflows and procedures for ATI MSA office staff. They will serve as a liaison between the MSA (Managed Service Agreement) client business office and ATI ensuring timely and accurate responses to the MSA client business office requests . They are responsible for the clinical administrative functions of ensuring accurate client billing and claims, and as needed, other clinic responsibilities within the MSA clinic. They will be responsible for a series of audits to ensure all MSA client processes are adhered to and to keep all members of the staff updated on policy and procedures changes within MSA clinic.

Responsibilities

Assists with hiring and responsible for training of all MSA Office Specialists, Office Coordinators and Authorization Specialists, including communication of new policies, procedures, workflows and expectations with all direct reports. Provide ongoing monitoring of quality/productivity by developing, updating, and performing a series of audits through work queues, client Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and reviews of MSA authorization and front office workflow documentation. Continuously analyze clinic needs and suggest ways to improve productivity, accuracy, and quality within the front desk workflows Manages day to day MSA front office and MSA authorization specialist team including performance management, reviewing and approving employee timesheets and payroll, and employee scheduling and paid time off requests. Serve as the main point of contact between the MSA client business office and ATI, responding to requests that involve patient billing, denials, medical record requests, patient appointment requests, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum EducationRequired: High School diploma or equivalentPreferred: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum ExperienceRequired: 2 or more years in an administrative position At least 5 years of office experience, preferably in a health-related field At least 1 year of lead/supervisory experiencePreferred: Previous health care business office experience including insurance verification, authorization, revenue cycle support or related field Familiar with healthcare information systems such as EPIC, NextGen, etc. Experience with ATI's IT product suite preferred 2 or more years of supervisory experience
