Job Title: Floor Supervisor - Union League National Golf Club
Reports to: Dining Room Manager F&B Manager - Union League National Golf Club
Objective: The Floor Supervisor ensures a high standard of appearance, hospitality, and service in personnel and cleanliness of all dining spaces at ULN. We are seeking a motivated and service-focused Entry-Level Floor Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging hospitality professional to gain hands-on leadership experience in a refined, member-focused environment. The Floor Manager plays a key role in overseeing daily dining operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, supporting front-of-house staff, and maintaining the welcoming atmosphere our members expect.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Managerial presence on dining floor during service hours.
โ€ข Has owner's eyes. Understands the need to be consistently "member ready" in both appearance and service.
โ€ข Lead a high-performance team while promoting and teaching sales techniques that will benefit the dining room.
โ€ข Communicate between front of house and back of house regarding cover counts, specials, and food problems.
โ€ข Follows and enforces the sequence of service techniques including but not limited to: delivering drinks, ordering food, coursing, and firing food.
โ€ข Inspects overall room for cleanliness & works with Manager on duty for preventative maintenance. Inspect tabletops to ensure neat, clean, and orderly presentation.
โ€ข Verifies that all side work is assigned and completed. Report any issues or concerns to the rest of the management team.
โ€ข Strives to learn members' names and preferences. Build rapport with new members and existing members.
โ€ข Completes an end-of-the-shift report for respective sales areas and ensures accuracy.
โ€ข Attend manager meetings and contribute ideas. Has excellent foresight with respect to knowing what is going on in the club & companion amenities. .
โ€ข Maintain and print clean food and beverage menus at the podium
