Job description

Job Title- Cook Helper
Responsibilities for cook helper
Assist cooks as needed with general kitchen tasks including restocking of
stations.
Completes daily temperature and production logs
Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements
where required
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
Work as a team, assist guests and employees with their needs and inquiries
Take down and set up all necessary equipment (including but not limited to
kettles, dicers, VCMs, pumps, can openers (auto and manual), and scales)
Clean/sanitize equipment during and after production usage
Qualifications for cook helper
Able to take initiative and exhibit flexibility
Verify all ingredients received from warehouse to ensure accuracy, quality.
90-day probationary period
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must be able to gain unescorted access to Military Facility
Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
Will be subject to an additional background check after 6 months of employment.
