Assistant Cook (285) – Chestnut Center
So much fun stuff happens in our classrooms every day! And that fun is powered through the good, nutritious meals prepared in our kitchens.  LCECP is seeking a good cook, who has strong understanding of kitchen safety, and meal preparation. 
Position Summary: 
Our Assistant Cooks are an important part of the kitchen team at LCECP, by helping to prepare all the healthy, nutritious meals that come out of our kitchens to feed our students. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a team and making a difference in children’s lives. We are looking for a good cook, who enjoys a fast-paced job.
The Assistant Cook will be responsible for: 
·         Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment 
·         Work with the Kitchen Supervisor and Cook to ensure an accurate inventory 
·         Complete all reporting, neatly and accurately 
·         Completed food preparation and serves food as assigned

·         High school diploma or GED 
·         Experience working in a commercial kitchen 
·         Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills. 
This position is eligible for medical and dental benefits after 90 days
 Wage: $17.13 per hour 
Monday – Friday 7 am to 2:30 pm 
35 hrs. a week/ 36 weeks a year
