Summary:

The Cook I is a core member of the Food & Nutrition team, responsible for variety of tasks in processing, preparation and mixing of cold food items. This role utilizes standardized recipes, procedures and practices while complying with regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year of experience in healthcare, institutional or restaurant cooking to include food preparation.

  • Lead or Supervisor experience preferred.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

  • City of Ft. Worth Food Handler's Card

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:30am to 3:00pm with rotating weekends
