Job Description

CSCI is looking for a self-motivated Microsoft 365 Engineer to complement our internally managed services group. This person will join our growing company to provide superior support to our managed services customers. The candidate will be required to work within a tight-knit group to implement and maintain new and existing network and security systems for our business clients. Candidates should have experience troubleshooting networking infrastructures for multiple customers.

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure for our San Diego business clients along with helpdesk support services. This position requires problem solving skills, multitasking, and working well under pressure.

Primary Duties

  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive for multiple clients.
  • Manage and maintain Intune environments including device enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment.
  • Support Azure environments including user identity management, conditional access policies, and security configurations via Entra ID.
  • Manage day-to-day IT infrastructure across multiple client environments, including servers, firewalls, and network equipment.
  • Install, configure, test, and monitor infrastructure for new and existing customers including servers, firewalls, and switches.
  • Provide helpdesk support for end users and clients, troubleshooting connectivity, software, and hardware issues.
  • Perform and verify data backups to ensure business continuity for managed clients.
  • Document internal procedures, network configurations, and client environments accurately and consistently.

Experience

  • 3-5 years, hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • 3-5 years, hands-on experience supporting managed services clients across multiple accounts.
  • Experience managing Intune environments including device enrollment, compliance policies, and application deployment.
  • Experience supporting Azure environments including Entra ID, conditional access, and network design.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Hyper-V/VMware, and domain administration including user and permission management.
  • Experience supporting macOS devices in a managed business environment.
  • Familiarity with network management tools such as N-Able, Auvik, and HaloPSA.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently across multiple clients and competing priorities.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
