Within Microsoft Digital, Corporate Functions Team builds and manages integrated legal, digital workplace, and operational platforms that power Microsoft's employee and enterprise experiences. Microsoft Digital's Corporate Functions organization is seeking a Product Manager II to help reimagine how Microsoft operates through AI, automation, and intelligent enterprise platforms. This role sits at the intersection of business transformation, product strategy, engineering, and AI innovation.
You will define and drive product strategy for a portfolio of enterprise platforms supporting Legal function at Microsoft. You will work with engineering teams, business leaders, data scientists, and AI specialists to create agentic experiences that reduce operational toil, improve employee experiences, and generate measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines deep product management fundamentals with systems thinking, business acumen, customer obsession, and a passion for applying AI to transform how work gets done. You are comfortable moving between strategic planning, customer discovery, roadmap definition, data analysis, engineering discussions, and executive storytelling. You thrive in ambiguity and lead through influence rather than authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Transformation - You will identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and transform business processes through AI, data, and modern platform capabilities.

  • AI-First Experiences - You will drive the design and delivery of agentic, Copilot-powered, and intelligent workflow experiences that improve productivity and business outcomes.
  • Data-Driven Decisions - You will establish success metrics, analyze product and operational signals, and use data to prioritize investments and measure impact.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership - You will partner across engineering, design, architecture, data, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Operational Excellence - You will champion security, compliance, accessibility, quality of service, and responsible AI as core product requirements.
  • Influence & Communication - You will drive alignment with senior stakeholders, communicate compelling product narratives, and lead through influence in a highly collaborative environment.

What Success Looks Like (First 6-12 Months)
  • You will deliver at least one significant AI-powered or agentic experience that demonstrates measurable business impact.
  • You will define and operationalize business outcome metrics tied to cost savings, operational efficiency, employee experience improvements, risk reduction, or revenue enablement.
  • You will build trusted partnerships across business, engineering, and Microsoft first-party product teams.
  • You will influence adoption of reusable AI and platform capabilities that accelerate delivery across multiple product areas.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Software Engineering, or related technology roles.
  • Experience delivering enterprise SaaS, workflow, business applications, or platform products.
  • Experience applying AI, Copilot, automation, machine learning, or conversational experiences to business scenarios.
  • Demonstrated success driving measurable business outcomes through product investments.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data and experimentation to guide decisions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Copilot Studio, Foundry, or related platforms preferred.

Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
