Overview

Role Overview

As a Director of Business Development, you will operate as a senior individual contributor within Publicis Sapient Microsoft Practice, responsible for driving net-new revenue and expanding strategic accounts aligned to the Microsoft ecosystem.

This is a quota-carrying role, with primary accountability for originating, shaping, and closing large, complex digital transformation deals. You will engage directly with C-level stakeholders, lead end-to-end sales cycles, and build trusted client relationships that translate into long-term revenue growth.

While you will collaborate closely with Microsoft field teams and internal go-to-market functions, your success will be defined by your ability to generate pipeline, convert opportunities, and consistently deliver against revenue targets.

Responsibilities

Your Impact

  • Own and deliver against an individual revenue quota tied to Microsoft-aligned opportunities
  • Originate, qualify, and close net-new business across enterprise clients, with a focus on large-scale digital transformation engagements
  • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including opportunity creation, deal shaping, commercial structuring, and contract negotiation
  • Build and expand executive-level relationships (CIO, CTO, CDO, and business leaders) to drive pipeline growth and account expansion
  • Develop and execute account penetration strategies across target industries and priority accounts
  • Partner with Microsoft field sales teams to identify, co-develop, and accelerate high-value opportunities
  • Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and conversion performance
  • Collaborate with consulting, engineering, and delivery teams to develop differentiated, outcome-based client propositions
  • Position Publicis Sapient's capabilities across cloud, data, AI, and digital business transformation to address client priorities
Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in enterprise sales, business development, or client partner roles within technology, consulting, or digital transformation services
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual revenue quotas
  • Demonstrated success closing large, complex enterprise deals (multi-million-dollar transformation programs)
  • Strong ability to originate net-new business and engage senior stakeholders in new and existing accounts
  • Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles in highly matrixed organizations
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Data & AI, and/or Dynamics 365, and how these solutions enable business outcomes
  • Experience leveraging Microsoft co-sell motions and field relationships to drive pipeline and close revenue
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to structure deals, articulate value, and influence executive decision-makers
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technology solutions into measurable business impact

Additional Information

Pay Range: $180,000 - $240,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
