Medical Records Coordinator
100% Onsite | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
$50K-$60K base + bonus
Seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to manage the retrieval, tracking, and organization of medical records supporting litigation matters. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant documentation across high-volume casework.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate medical record requests with providers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Track authorizations and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Manage record requests, follow-ups, and status reporting
  • Resolve missing or incomplete documentation
  • Support case timelines by prioritizing record retrieval needs

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of medical records, HIM, or related experience (legal/healthcare/insurance)
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA and authorization processes
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Experience with case/document management systems preferred
