Who we're looking for


Toyota's Accounting & Finance Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Sr Financial Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accuracy and timely reconciliation of vehicle sales, pricing, export activity, and compliance reporting.
Reporting to the Vehicle Contribution Margin Manager, the person in this role will support the Vehicle Contribution Margin department's objective to produce accurate quarterly forecasting, monthly variance reporting, compliance, and other finance-related needs.


What you'll be doing
Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of vehicle sales, export activity, and intercompany transactions through continuous monitoring and variance investigation.
Perform financial analysis-including pricing quantification, margin validation, and flux reviews-to support reliable reporting and profit decisionmaking.
Maintain compliance with SOX, audit requirements, and internal controls by preparing required documentation and supporting ongoing monitoring activities.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (COE, IT, Product Management, AP/AR, and Logistics) to resolve data issues, system discrepancies, and billing disputes.
Manage ongoing updates to pricing, CAL data, and sales files to ensure accurate financial inputs and alignment with operational changes.
Support forecasting development and support ad-hoc requests.
What you bring


Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field, or related work experience
5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting and/or related discipline
Prior experience analyzing large data sets, financial information and variance analysis

Proven interpersonal and organizational skills
Expertise in Excel (ie: complex formulas, pivot tables, etc)

Prior experience developing presentations and reports to effectively communicate financial information


Added bonus if you have

Masters degree

CPA or CMA
Experience with SAP and BPC Planning Software
Knowledgeable in Power BI development.
Knowledgeable in Alteryx.

Prior experience in the automotive industry

Prior experience supporting audits and SOX controls
