Description

The Functional Consultant will work with IT compliance SMEs to develop and execute functional requirements testing of critical audit-relevant systems. Specific tasks will include:

- Work with system owners and knowledgeable users to understand system capabilities

- Analyze business process documentation and conduct walkthroughs to understand system functionality supporting business processes

- Develop test procedures and strategies to verify compliance with DFAS Blue Book functional requirements

- Execute functional requirements testing and interpret/report results to client

- Facilitate meetings and work with client to share updates, answer questions, and collaborate on delivery


Role Skills:

1 - Finance Systems Acumen

2 - Microsoft Office365 

3 - Business Process Design 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirment

- Minimum 5 years of Consulting Experience

- 1 year experience working with functional requirements as part of an SI delivery project

- Minimum 5 years of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word Skills

- Bachelor's Degree


Prefered Requirement

-Working knowledge of DFAS Blue Book requirements

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills working in a technical environment

- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross-process teams
