Mid-Level Financial Analyst - Position Description

ICI Services-a 100% employee-owned company proudly celebrating 26 years ofexcellence-is seeking Mid-Level Financial Analyst toimmediately support our Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems Business and Financial Management Support (PEO IWS BFM) Team at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC.

Security Clearance:
Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
  • Enter financial data into government approved systems for obligation and procurement such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning or Standard Procurement System.
  • Conduct analysis, report financial risk, and advise the government of strategies to mitigate the impact of financial risk.
  • Assist with the development and issuance of formal financial policies and directives as required.
  • Provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to improve current ad hoc or documented business rules.
  • Assist in analysis of monthly burn rate analysis, trend analysis, multi-year historical performance.

Experiences:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Navy Financial Systems including but not limited to: Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Program Budget Information System (PBIS), Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA) and NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).
  • 4-8 years of providing financial support to a Navy Program is required.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or another related field.
