Job description


Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a key contributor to the IFRS Lending Accounting Analysis and Automation project, you will:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Product Control, LEC, and Accounting Policy to gather and document business and accounting needs.
  • Evaluate lending accounting treatments under IFRS, comparing them with current US GAAP processes to identify differences in reporting, valuation, and disclosure.
  • Assist the senior Product Owner in developing accounting requirements, business rules, and specifications for automation.
  • Work with Technology teams to design, implement, and validate system solutions.
  • Support user acceptance testing, resolve issues, and secure business approval.
  • Prepare materials for senior management to communicate project status, key decisions, risks, and milestones.
  • Document accounting positions and rationale for US GAAP to IFRS differences that are not addressed by system enhancements.
  • Establish a scalable, controlled IFRS lending accounting framework for client reporting.
  • Enhance consistency in accounting treatment across legal entities and reporting frameworks.
  • Support the timely delivery of client regulatory and financial reporting commitments.
Skills Required
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Loans as Product Controllers.
  • Preferred background in Investment Banking Accounting.
  • General project management skills, including strong communication and writing abilities.
