JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for accurate preparation and execution of daily cycle counts and inventory maintenance for warehouse/inventory functions of location management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Understands the location control in the warehouse and can accurately identify product based on visual inspection and numeric identification
  • Assists with periodic inventory audits
  • Preparation and execution of daily cycle counts for all warehouses
  • Reconciliation of inventory (i.e. stock adjustments etc.)
  • Perform system maintenance (AS400/Pick Automation) for warehouse/inventory functions (i.e. location management, override location management, warehouse transfers, location replenishment)
  • Inventory maintenance, to include replenishment from overstock locations to shelf, or product moves from different warehouse locations
  • Assists with location issues on pick lists for sales orders (inventory/location inaccuracies)
  • Work with Microsoft Office
  • Maintains all inventory reports and paperwork for history records
  • Other tasks as assigned by Manager

WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience in a relevant position desired

PREFERRED EDUCATION:
  • High School degree or equivalent required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
  • Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions
  • Basic mechanical skills desired
  • Basic math and logic skills required
  • Basic computer skills and software use (email, document prep, and spreadsheets) desired

TRAVEL / WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Travel - typically not required
  • Position typically works on site where environmental conditions are stable. May be exposed to higher levels of noise typical in a packaging environment.
  • The position requires an above average amount of physical activity. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch, climb stairs and may be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
