Key responsibilities:
As a Stock Control Supervisor, you will be Performing all the activities related to the function of stock management. Responsible for maintaining stock management KPI according to Operational Service Agreement (OSA) - Inventory Accuracy KPI. Responsible for stock alignment between the customer's stock management system (ERP) and NewCold's WMS (MLS). 
What you will be doing: 
Contractual customer KPIs are met for service and quality 
Costs are controlled in line with budgeted expectations 
A NewCold culture is apparent on the site resulting in employee engagement  
A safe and healthy work environment is maintained 
All site KPIs are reported and achieved 
A healthy and professional relationship with the customer is always maintained. 
Training and indirectly managing the team in line with company policy and ensuring agreed standards are met 
Working with the managers or supervisors on improvement initiatives to reduce cost and/or improve service  
Monitoring and reacting to KPI results and working with the Site Manager to identify and share improvement ideas ("Inventory Accuracy" and "Stock Loss Threshold" KPIs) 
Creating a culture of a team focussed on health, safety and quality in all aspects of warehouse activity 
Create and maintain a customer service system (site specific policy and procedures) that supports the service levels agreed upon with the customer(s) 
Appropriately escalate and communicate customer issues the correct warehouse operational staff on site to ensure quick resolution 
Daily contact with the customer and warehouse operations to discuss customer service and stock related issues 
Inventory always meets HAACP and BRC standards in coordination with the site's QESH Manager and the customer's QA department 
Customer Stock and WMS System Management 
Manages and maintains stock accuracy between the client's inventory control system and Newcold's WMS system (MLS) 
Provides the customer(s) with accurate and timely information and maintains frequent contact on progress, priorities, defects and bottlenecks 
Ensures if necessary to adjust the stock, after consultation with the customer and necessary operational staff on site 
Signals anomalies and defects, informs the Ops Manager, agrees on measures where needed and executes them with the customer's approval. 
Ensures that all stock management tasks performed for a customer and/or the site are being done with coordination of the Ops Manager, i.e. restacking, stock status changes, cancellations, unpicks, blocked product, holds, and cycle count, etc. 
Completes all the administration work for the stock management process and ensures it is accurate 
Provides the customer and Ops Manager with all information regarding stock adjustments executed during operational activities if necessary 
Manages the issue list of the customer, ensuring the issue identified is resolved and communicated back to the customer 
Ensures clean-up and management actions related to the WMS system are resolved 
Software and Hardware bug detection and reporting to the IT-WMS Super User 
Highlighting any Master Data issues within the WMS system (MLS) in regards to orders and stock control to the IT-WMS Super User. 
Highlighting any order Master Data deficits to the customer and ensuring any issues are resolved. 
Investigating any deficits highlighted by the planner and finding a solution with the customer to ensure all stock is delivered and managed correctly. 
Additional tasks 
Assisting the operation as required by the site, including: 
Assist colleagues in carrying out tasks as required 
Support Business Development initiatives as and when required 
Continually look for opportunities for improvement
