Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an Inventory Controller position located in Mooresville, IN 46158 zip code.

Pay Rate: $34.00/HR

Shift: Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm

2 months (Temp)

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement methods to maintain accurate inventory levels at the facility.

  • Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional teams including those from purchasing, sales, production, and the warehouse.

  • Responsible for cycle counts being completed in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Instruct warehouse personnel when and where to return defective or returned stock items.

  • Maintain the defective/returned stock items area in an orderly fashion.

  • Monitor defective/returned stock items in the warehouse that have not yet been processed.

  • Maintain proficiency in SAP, DQS and other technologies as required.

  • Conduct and/or supervise audits of facility inventory on a scheduled basis.

  • Responsible for training employees on the process of inventory control, DQS and cycle counting.

  • Responsible for ensuring DQS and SAP bar code scanners, printers, and computers are maintained and in working condition.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures.

  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly

Environmental Conditions

  • Exposure to constant or intermittent noise; ear plugs are required.

  • Exposure to dust, chemicals, and allergens; safety gear including hard hats is required for bump protection and to prevent exposure to potential contaminants

Pay Details: $34.00 per hour
