Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Manufacturing Engineering Manager to help manage Caterpillar's motor prototyping facility in Noblesville, Indiana. This site represents a pivotal step in advancing our division's electrification strategy and will play a critical role in developing multiple motor technologies. You will be responsible for scaling operations, fostering a culture of innovation, safety, and collaboration. You will lead a team of operations professionals, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivering high-impact results.

• Up to 15% domestic travel will be required.

What you will do
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing cross-functional team.
  • Oversee prototyping activities and ensure alignment with electrification technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
  • Drive continuous improvement, quality, and safety initiatives.

Operations: Extensive knowledge of motor manufacturing plants and operations. Experience in a variety of operational roles from supply chain to quality.
• Designs awareness programs for multi- and cross-functional issues of the regulatory environment., and validation relevant industry practices from an operations perspective and works accordingly.
• Recommends efficiencies in operational functions wherever possible.
Collaborating: Extensive expertise in working cross functionally with engineering, design, testing, and validation in order to drive process design for manufacturability.
• Demonstrates experience engendering collaborative processes that lead to problem solving and the achievement of business goals.
• Deemphasizes divides; focuses on collaboration across generations, functions, regions, and levels.
• Implements methods for people to come together on the fly to make decisions, solve problems, and develop products/services.

• Creates training programs for the approaches to developing and executing a lean supplier strategy.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00
