To thrive as a Full Time Engineering Manager, you need a strong background in engineering principles, project management, and team leadership, typically supported by a relevant engineering degree and professional experience. Familiarity with project management tools (like Jira or Trello), version control systems (such as Git), and possibly certifications such as PMP or Agile/Scrum are commonly required. These skills are vital for delivering quality technical solutions, managing complex projects, and developing high-performing engineering teams.

What are some typical challenges Full Time Engineering Managers face when leading technical teams?

Full Time Engineering Managers often encounter challenges such as balancing technical leadership with people management, aligning team goals with broader business objectives, and ensuring effective communication across cross-functional teams.
