Job Summary:
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide hands‑on technical leadership supporting machining operations and serve as interim stand‑in coverage for Manufacturing Engineering Management as required. This role focuses on machining process development, equipment installation, industrialization, and component quality to ensure safe and efficient production readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead development, optimization, and validation of machining processes to support production and program requirements
* Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of CNC machines, tooling, and related manufacturing equipment
* Provide technical leadership for component quality, root cause analysis, and corrective action within a regulated environment
* Support production readiness, capacity planning, and standardization of machining processes
* Interface with union production teams, quality, and operations to resolve manufacturing and process issues
* Utilize SAP to support routing, process documentation, and manufacturing execution activities
Required Qualifications:
* 10 or more years manufacturing engineering experience within a machining‑focused production environment
* Strong background in machining process development, industrialization, and equipment implementation
* Demonstrated experience supporting component quality in regulated manufacturing environments
* Ability to operate independently in a senior technical or advisory capacity
* Experience working effectively within a union manufacturing environment
* Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate or Bachelor"s degree
* Prior experience supporting Rolls‑Royce and/or aircraft engine manufacturing programs
* Experience working within AS9100 or equivalent quality systems
* Proficiency supporting manufacturing processes and documentation within SAP
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
* Flexibility to support first‑shift operations with occasional off‑shift engagement as needed

Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $45.00-60.00 per hour.
