SAIC is seeking a Software Engineer Associate to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Candidate will serve in the Weapons Platform Integration Branch focusing on the MK49 Remoted Operated Small Arms Mount ISEA project.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Supporting all software aspects of the MK 49 MOD 0 ROSAM system and support equipment
  • Support ongoing engineering, troubleshooting, continuous improvements, and system refurbishments
  • Support live-fire test and evaluation events along with collaborating with other branches and divisions within and outside of the Weapon Systems Division (JXN)
  • Candidate should have a strong background in embedded systems and programming in Python and C++ languages

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelor's degree and zero years of experience
  • Experience with Python and C++ languages
  • Communicate well

  • Meeting specified deadlines - position is very time sensitive with deliverable schedule
  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.  SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
