Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Field Sales Operations Manager to partner directly with our Account Executives (AEs) to structure complex, high-value deals efficiently and profitably. This pivotal role acts as a primary advisor to the sales team, guiding the construction of optimal order forms and commercial terms that align with customer needs and company objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in accelerating the sales cycle by simplifying deal structuring and enabling the sales team to focus on revenue generation. This role may require direct engagement with customers to clarify and negotiate commercial terms.

In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with AEs on deal construction, review terms and margins, and collaborate across departments (Finance, Legal, Operations) to manage the end-to-end contracting process. Your strategic thinking and deep understanding of the sales process will be essential for balancing deal velocity with successful, compliant outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Sales leadership to drive operational rigor across active pipelines — inspecting deal activity, identifying execution gaps, and escalating blockers to keep opportunities moving forward.
  • Develop and maintain customer-facing content that enables champions to sell Transmit Security internally — including business cases, evaluation guides, and ROI materials.
  • Own and continuously optimize the POC (proof of concept) process —building structured frameworks, improving evaluation workflows, and ensuring every POC is set up to convert.
  • Improve and document sales processes to increase operational efficiency and ensure consistent execution across the team.
  • Support deal operations for complex enterprise transactions, including multi-product and non-standard commercial structures.
  • Produce pipeline reporting, forecasting analysis, and operational insights that help leadership make faster, better decisions.
  • Ensure CRM data accuracy and support GTM technology. Report on deal metrics and trends, suggesting adjustments to boost win rates and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on deal mechanics and commercial structuring — providing operational guidance on pricing parameters, contract requirements, and approval workflows to keep deals moving without creating bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Sales, Sales Operations, RevOps, or a closely related role within SaaS or technology company with a strong focus on complex deal construction.
  • Prior experience as an Enterprise Account Executive or similar customer-facing sales role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent customer-facing communication, negotiation, and advisory skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), CPQ tools, pricing strategies, and contract management processes.
  • Knowledge of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and deal operations.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving business needs, and capable of managing simultaneous, high-priority deal cycles.

The OTE salary range for this position is $120,000- $140,000 USD. Individual compensation for this role is determined based on various factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, location, and overall business and organizational needs.
