Job description

Position Summary
Pinnacle MEP is seeking a highly analytical and systems-driven Director of Sales Operations to build and scale a best-in-class sales operations function across a rapidly growing, PE-backed platform.
This role will be responsible for driving sales performance, pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and process standardization across multiple operating companies (OpCos). The Director will play a critical role in aligning sales, finance, and operations by leveraging key platforms including ServiceTitan, BuildOps, and CRM systems to deliver actionable insights and scalable processes.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and can bridge strategy with execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance amp; Analytics
  • Develop and manage sales performance reporting, dashboards, and KPIs across all OpCos
  • Provide real-time visibility into pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance
  • Partner with Finance to improve forecasting accuracy and revenue predictability
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth
Systems amp; Tools Optimization
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in ServiceTitan, BuildOps, and CRM optimization and adoption
  • Partner with Data amp; Systems leadership to ensure data integrity and system integration
  • Standardize sales workflows and reporting across platforms
  • Drive user adoption, training, and best practices across sales teams
Process Design amp; Standardization
  • Build and implement scalable sales processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks
  • Standardize pipeline stages, definitions, and reporting across OpCos
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish clear sales operating cadence (pipeline reviews, forecasting calls, etc.)
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Finance, Operations, and Data/IT
  • Support Finance with budgeting, planning, and performance tracking
  • Collaborate with OpCo leaders to align on sales strategy and execution
  • Support M amp;A efforts through sales process integration and reporting alignment
Field amp; OpCo Enablement
  • Partner with OpCo leadership to improve local sales execution and visibility
  • Ensure consistent adoption of tools, processes, and reporting standards
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve win rates and sales productivity
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations
  • Experience in a PE-backed, multi-entity, or roll-up environment strongly preferred
  • Strong experience with ServiceTitan required; exposure to BuildOps and CRM platforms highly preferred
  • Proven track record of building sales reporting, forecasting, and operational processes
  • Advanced analytical skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels, pipeline management, and KPI development
  • Experience partnering closely with Finance and executive leadership
  • Background in construction, HVAC, field service, or related industries preferred
