Fantastic comp plan. Realistic year 1 target compensation starting at $50,000 at plan. Compensation is based on salary, commission & bonuses.

Responsibilities for the Major Account Representative:

  • Locate and develop new business opportunities within a territory for each of the company's product segments
  • Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis and oversee all sales activity within the assigned territory
  • Report on all sales activity, via CRM and manage business through that technical platform
  • Frequent communication with inside support
  • Manage workload and respond to customers in a timely manner, including follow-up contact for potential leads
  • Obtain a broad understanding of product segments and their related functional capacities
  • Make outbound telemarketing & cold calls to prospective & current customers
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to team goals
  • Cold call on businesses to initiate sales conversations
  • Identify and target potential business clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Present and demonstrate products/services
  • Negotiate and close sales deals
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities and results
  • Stay current with industry trends and market conditions

Requirements for the Major Account Representative:

  • Possess a college degree or 3-5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Competitive, positive attitude
  • Ability to negotiate, basic contract negotiation, basic computer skills
  • Present a professional image with business acumen
  • Strong ability to self-initiate tasks and set goals
  • Valid driver's license

Demands for the Major Account Representative:

  • Full-time position, salary plus commission. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • In-person meetings and prospecting within a defined geography or book of business in the Lima Market and surrounding areas required daily
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to maximize effectiveness
  • (This is not a remote position)
