Overview
Responsible for working closely with contract administrators and engineering to ensure that internal planning and engineering can produce an acceptable First Article Inspection Report, which meets the customer's final specifications by performing the following duties.

  • Reviews customer requirements using customer supplier resources, such as purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and tooling.
  • Identifies manufacturing and quality processes necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Reviews ECO's and planning in order to produce a product to customer requirements.
  • Participates in the improvement process by documenting process changes in the planning, known as Planning Change Request.
  • Audits planning and approves internally created sketches on a regular basis.
  • Develops FAI templates within Net Inspect during planning review within the ECO process. Bubbles engineering for all FAI's with use of Discus Software and/or InspectionXpert.Ballooning Software

Qualifications
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Training:
  • Net Inspect use/knowledge
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation

  • Discus use experience and/or InspectionXpert experience.

Equipment:
  • Eye and hearing protection may be necessary while working on the shop floor

Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
  • Thorough product and process knowledge
  • Must understand quality as it relates to total customer service philosophy
  • Must have thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, MRP systems, Net-Inspect, and Discus
  • Must be familiar with industry engineering and specifications
