Job description

ZimZee Recruiting is looking for a Production Planner for our avionics client in Wichita, KS. You will be developing, coordinating, and optimizing production schedules that ensure efficient manufacturing operations, on-time customer deliveries, and appropriate inventory levels. This role is responsible for balancing production capacity, material availability, and customer demand while working cross-functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or supply chain planning experience
  • Strong experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Proven ability to develop and manage production schedules in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management, capacity planning, and demand forecasting principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing production requirements

Key Responsibilities
