Job description

Provides customers with accurate and timely information to ensure customer satisfaction.
Specific Duties

  • Process new and repeat orders for production, ensuring all aspects of order entry are complete and accurate. Handle all customer inquiries and complaints. Process and follow up on customer quotation requests for pricing. Track customer orders through the use of scheduling reports. Foreword edits to the OM for daily production meetings.
  • Enter all new accounts in the Hagen system. Enter and follow design/prototype orders. Ensure that all completed orders are processed in an expedient manner.
  • Oversee the processing of all customer-related correspondence, art, color matches, and order acknowledgments with the help of the Customer Service Assistant. Coordinate prospect and customer mailings related to information or sample requests.
  • Enter all prospect and customer quotations to the estimating department, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all information being submitted to the estimating department.
  • Follow up on all quotations given to the estimating department, including delivery to customers.
  • Coordinate all necessary paperwork and processes necessary to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
  • Handle all customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Maintain an accurate finished goods inventory including, when necessary, order entry, physical inventories, inventory resolution, and reporting.
  • Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrate a professional attitude at all times. Process all incoming documentation in the most expedient and concise manner supplying all necessary information. Service BGS customers and prospective customers in an expedient and professional manner.
