Job description

SUMMARY
The Associate Legal Administrator performs general administrative and clerical duties in support of the Legal Administration Department. Additionally, this role may participate in the preparation and distribution of board materials and regulatory filings.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Prepares and coordinates the preparation of various reports and metrics.
  • Maintains calendars and databases.
  • Assists with various department and client-related projects and initiatives.
  • Administers board book preparation, production, assembly, shipping, and tracking, as needed.
  • Participates in preparing and distributing client board and committee materials, including agendas, exhibits, reports, and resolutions, as needed.
  • Participates in managing regulatory calendars and filing processes, as needed.
  • Performs daily legal administration operations, as needed.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Contact as needed with clients regarding general information, resolution of issues, inquiries, or reporting requirements.
  • Contact with members of team and internal teams regarding follow-up on inquiries, open workflow, etc.

May perform other duties as required and assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.

KNOWLEDGE
  • Financial services industry.
  • Relevant statutes and rules relating to the core job functions.
  • Investment Company Act of 1940.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Adobe Acrobat.
