Company Description NJ Elder Law Center at Goldberg Law Group in Little Falls, NJ is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented person to join our team in a contract position through the end of November, with the potential to develop into a part-time or full-time opportunity for the right person.


Role Description The Contract Legal Assistant will provide on-site support to attorneys at NJ Elder Law Center at Goldberg Law Group in Little Falls, NJ. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, maintaining client files, managing calendars, and scheduling appointments and court dates. The role involves communicating with clients and their families, gathering necessary information and documentation, and coordinating with elder care and financial professionals as needed.


We are specifically looking for someone with experience in guardianships and estate planning who can step in and support our legal team.


Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

In-Office Location: Little Falls, NJ

Hourly Rate: $30/hour


We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience with guardianship matters and estate planning
  • Is organized and pays close attention to detail
  • Is professional and comfortable communicating with clients and families
  • Can manage multiple matters and follow through on deadlines
  • Is comfortable assisting with legal documents, client communication, scheduling, and file management
  • Takes initiative and works well as part of a team
