Your Role at Pura:
Pura Scents, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and dependable Legal Assistant to support the daily operations of the Legal Department. This role provides administrative, operational, and coordination support for the Legal Operations Manager and in-house legal team.
The Legal Assistant helps ensure that contracts, legal records, compliance documentation, and legal workflows remain organized, accurate, and moving efficiently across the company. The role also supports a variety of physical, administrative, and cross-functional tasks that require human judgment, coordination, and follow-through.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, service-minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Own:
  • Legal Coordination & Intake Support
    • Support intake and routing of legal requests.
    • Track legal matters and provide status updates to internal stakeholders.
    • Coordinate collection of agreements and supporting documents.
    • Assist business teams with legal processes and systems.
    • Help maintain organized legal files and repositories.
  • Contract & Legal Operations Support
    • Assist with contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes and systems.
    • Upload, organize, index, and maintain agreements and related records.
    • Review contract files for completeness and accuracy.
    • Track key contract terms, renewals, and deadlines.
    • Support legal department reporting, tracking, and process improvement efforts.
  • Compliance & Administrative Support
    • Maintain compliance-related records and documentation.
    • Support insurance certificate tracking and related requests.
    • Assist with regulatory, customs, privacy, and operational documentation.
    • Coordinate document execution, notarization, certified mail, and apostille processes.
    • Manage scanning, filing, records retention, and document organization.
    • Assist with billing, matter setup, and other legal administrative tasks.
  • Logistics & Documentation Management
    • Coordinate shipment and tracking of legal or product-related materials.
    • Maintain organized documentation for claims, investigations, and legal matters.
    • Assist with evidence tracking and chain-of-custody records when needed.

Qualifications:
  • Required
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, legal assistant, or operations support role.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Comfort working with technology platforms and document systems.
    • Willingness to become a Utah Notary Public within six months of hire.
  • Preferred
    • Experience supporting in-house legal teams.
    • Familiarity with contract management or document management systems.
    • Experience supporting compliance, audits, or regulatory processes.
    • Interest in legal operations, process improvement, or legal technology.
