Description:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in building pipelines, supporting the digital sales team, and accelerating revenue growth. This is a hands-on learning and development role designed to transition into a full Digital Sales Executive position. The SDR will work closely with senior sales executives to set up meetings, conduct research, assist with proposals, and support clients, while gradually taking on his/her own digital deals.


Please note: This is a remote role, but the candidate must be based in either central or eastern time zones.


Duties + Responsibilities:

Pipeline Development

  • Research and identify high-value target accounts across key industries.
  • Conduct thoughtful outreach to create qualified meetings for senior digital sales reps.
  • Join all calls to support sales executives, document next steps, and learn about the sales process.
  • Assist with discovery preparation.

Sales Enablement & Operations Support

  • Conduct inventory checks across digital ad placements, campaigns, and available assets.
  • Assist with proposal development and project management (gathering client info, timelines, deliverables).
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, including notes, pipeline stages, and campaign data.
  • Manage follow-up tasks and coordinate internal resources to keep proposals moving efficiently.

Client Engagement Support

  • Prepare pre-call research and post-call summaries for sales executives.
  • Help build relationships with prospective and client companies.
  • Partner with senior sales executives to maintain client satisfaction and ensure smooth opportunity handoffs.

Learning, Development & Growth Path

  • Shadow senior sales executives on discovery calls, proposal reviews, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Complete a structured training plan covering: sales process & methodology, BridgeTower digital products, objection handling, CRM excellence, order entry, and post-order management excellence
  • The expectation is to transition to independently managing and closing digital deals.

Skills + Requirements:

  • Experience in the B2B space, particularly selling to companies in legal, accounting, real estate, healthcare, consulting, banking/finance, and education
  • Strong consultative sales acumen
  • Advertising or marketing experience. Print and Digital sales experience is a plus.
  • A proven track record in developing new business and building strong relationships with existing business to grow the book of business.
  • Excellent verbal, written and face-to-face communications skills.
  • Strong teamwork ethic.
  • Experience using a CRM system, strong in excel and word.
  • Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down
