Nitta Gelatin, a global manufacturer of gelatin and collagen solutions, is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our North America business. This role will lead the next phase of growth across North America and serves as the senior leader for Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Logistics. This position plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening overall business performance. The role provides direct exposure to executive leadership and requires regular interaction with global teams.

Work Location & Schedule

This position is based at Nitta Gelatin North America’s Morrisville, NC office. A hybrid work schedule is available, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work in alignment with business needs and company policy. Regular in-person presence is required to support team leadership, customer engagement, executive-level collaboration, and cross-functional coordination.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the full North America commercial and customer-facing function, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Logistics. The Director will partner closely with operations, product development, and global leadership to align business strategy and execution while driving sustainable growth and profitability.

What You Will Lead
  • Drive revenue growth across North America, including volume, pricing, and margin performance
  • Lead market expansion efforts and identify new applications and customer segments
  • Develop and execute key account strategies for strategic customers
  • Establish pricing strategies aligned with market conditions and profitability goals
  • Provide strategic direction for marketing, brand positioning, digital presence, and industry engagement
  • Strengthen internal marketing capability and guide development of marketing resources
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across multiple functions
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused culture
  • Partner with global leadership, including regular executive-level reporting and discussions
  • Build trust and support recommendations with clear data and business rationale
  • Strengthen forecasting, pipeline visibility, and KPI reporting
  • Align customer demand with production planning and operational capabilities
  • Manage budgets, contract negotiations, and executive reporting
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and business practices

10+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, including leadership experience in B2B manufacturing or the food ingredients industry (gelatin or collagen preferred). The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and operate effectively in a global organization.
