Job description

We're looking for an experienced Account Manager who is genuinely excited about digital marketing and ready to own a roster of client accounts, managing them independently at a real agency.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you'll be embedded in our agency's day-to-day operations, managing client accounts and serving as the primary point of contact for the clients on your roster. You'll be trusted to manage your accounts with minimal oversight, while collaborating closely with our broader team.

What You'll DoClient & Account Management
  • Own client relationships and serve as the main point of contact on your accounts
  • Lead client calls, presenting performance and strategy with confidence
  • Maintain organized client documentation, notes, and project files
  • Manage onboarding processes for new clients and projects
Project Management & Organization
  • Independently manage timelines, deliverables, and priorities across multiple accounts
  • Create, assign, and track tasks to keep deliverables on schedule
  • Keep shared folders, client files, and internal resources clean and up to date
  • Proofread internal and client-facing documents with a sharp eye for detail
  • Review automations, websites, and workflows to ensure quality and flag issues
Tracking & Performance
  • Oversee performance on multiple platforms
  • Build and deliver client-facing reporting and performance documentation
  • Maintain internal hubs and system documentation
Sales & Growth
  • Identify opportunities to expand or upsell services within existing accounts
  • Support the sales process on new accounts when needed, from pitch support to onboarding

Requirements

  • Confident communicator, both with clients and internally
  • Highly organized, with experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Comfortable with Google Drive, email, and basic digital tools
  • 2+ years of relevant account management or agency experience
  • Experience owning client relationships across multiple accounts
  • Experience leading client calls and presenting performance updates to clients
  • Experience handling client onboarding
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Currently lives in North Carolina

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable contributing to sales conversations or helping close new business when needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Experience with SEO or AI, PPC or paid ads, web marketing, email marketing, or social media marketing
  • Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools
  • Knowledge of or experience in the home improvement or home services industry
