Position Overview:

The Internal Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in driving employee engagement and alignment across Brunswick Boat Group and its iconic boat brands. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Enterprise Internal Communications, this role is responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies that support the division's business objectives, reinforce Brunswick's enterprise messaging, and empower leaders and managers with the tools they need to communicate effectively with their teams.

This position requires a strategic communicator and exceptional writer who can distill complex business information into clear, compelling, and actionable messages. In this role, the Internal Communications Manager will oversee execution of division-wide content strategy that focuses on driving employee engagement, specifically within the division's frontline workforce. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, is excited to take on new challenges in our "Next Never Rests" spirit, brings creativity and precision to every project, and is passionate about fostering a connected and informed workforce.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement internal communication plans that support Brunswick Boat Group's strategic priorities and brand portfolio.

  • Execute communication strategies and develop content to increase engagement with Boat Group's frontline workforce.

  • Ensure enterprise messaging is effectively cascaded across the division through appropriate channels and leadership engagement.

  • Implement content strategy for Boat Group division-wide communications to ensure employees are informed and engaged.

  • Partner with division leaders and functional teams to craft communications that inform, engage, and inspire employees.

  • Create and manage content for internal channels including intranet, newsletters, digital signage, and email communications.

  • Support the development of toolkits and resources that enable managers to communicate consistently and confidently with their teams.

  • Collaborate with enterprise communications, marketing, and creative teams to produce multimedia content including video, presentations, and long-form articles.

  • Maintain and enhance the division's intranet presence, ensuring content is current, relevant, and aligned with enterprise standards.

  • Review and edit communications for clarity, tone, and alignment with Brunswick's brand and style guidelines.

  • Contribute to enterprise-wide campaigns and initiatives, ensuring divisional alignment and participation.

  • Assist with external-facing content and recognition efforts, including award submissions and press materials as needed.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong grasp of AP Style.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in corporate communications environment. Background in a manufacturing environment, within a multi-brand organization, is a plus.

  • Familiarity with internal communication platforms such as SharePoint, Contact Monkey, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Experience developing newsletters and managing enterprise email distribution.

  • Video production or multimedia content creation experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid, 3x per week in office

Theanticipatedpay range for this position is$87,800-117,000annually. The actual base pay offeredwillvary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills,relevantexperience, business needs,andgeographic location.In addition to base pay, this positioniseligible foran annual discretionarybonus.
