Lake Mead Christian Ministries (LMCM) Minister - Communication & Creative Lead

Job Type: Part Time (20-25 hours per week)

Department: Church at Lake Mead

Reports to: NextGen & Creative Pastor

Compensation: $20-$22/Hour

Job Summary: This role oversees and leads all church communications, branding, and creative efforts to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging messaging across every platform.


Required Spiritual Qualities

  • Acknowledges Christ as Savior and lives life as His devoted disciple.
  • Supports the LMCM Mission by making disciples of Jesus Christ through community.
  • Demonstrates spiritual flourishing through personal disciplines of prayer, Bible study, and outreach to others.
  • Believes the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God.
  • Agrees with and actively supports the LMCM Statement of Faith.
  • Shows evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in interactions with people.
  • Has a Christ-centered home.
  • Attends and actively participates in an evangelical church.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serves as the staff lead for Communication and Creative Serve Teams on Sundays
  • Ensures adherence to the church branding guide across all communications and materials
  • Owns and manages the church calendar
  • Coordinates and oversees graphic design and marketing requests
  • Manages church-wide communications, including:
    • Church emails
    • Church text communications
    • Church social media platforms
    • Church website
  • Manages and updates the church app
  • Plans and manages social media calendar and social posts
  • Orders and coordinates printed materials
  • Assists with and manages announcement videos
  • Coordinates, builds, and leads Communication & Creative Serve Teams
Skills & Qualifications:


Technical Skills

  • Preferred proficiency in Asana or similar project management tools (task tracking, workflows, deadlines)
  • Comfortable using Canva for creating branded graphics and basic design work
  • Preferred proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Gmail)
  • Preferred experience managing or updating website content (CMS like Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, etc.)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Planning Center, etc., if applicable)
  • Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of digital communication tools (church apps, texting platforms, etc.)
  • Preferred experience: basic video editing or coordination experience
  • Preferred experience familiarity with livestream/production coordination or announcement workflows

Creative & Communication Skills

  • Strong written communication skills (email, announcements, internal/external messaging)
  • Ability to maintain consistent branding and visual identity
  • Comfortable coordinating and organizing creative projects and deadlines
