Position Statement

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering clear, consistent communication across the firm to support alignment, engagement, and business priorities. This role partners closely with leadership to translate strategic initiatives into effective messaging, while managing the day-to-day execution of internal communications across firm channels.

This individual will establish communication standards, enhance existing channels and ensure associates are informed, connected and aligned with firm objectives. The Internal Communications Manager will bring discipline and consistency to internal communications by overseeing content development, channel effectiveness, and messaging alignment across the firm. The role works closely with leadership to support key initiatives, while implementing standards, processes, and measurement approaches that improve how information is communicated, understood, and acted upon.

Tasks

  • Develop and manage internal communication strategies.
  • Coordinate monthly YourView newsletter and YourView LIVE meeting.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute firmwide communications (announcements, leadership updates, key initiatives)
  • Ensure internal communications consistently reflect the firmโ€™s brand, culture, tone of voice, and established messaging and purpose
  • Engage with associates across all levels to develop, implement, and promote internal initiatives that foster collaboration.
  • Manage internal communication channels, including email, GBQnet intranet, Microsoft Teams, YourView, and firm meetings.
  • Support executive and leadership communications, including talking points, presentations, announcements, and video messages.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all internal communications. Advise leadership on strategic organizational design and workforce trends, identifying opportunities for culture-building programs.
  • Coordinate communication timelines and cadences across departments and offices
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop messaging and supporting materials for internal initiatives
  • Optimize firm-wide meetings, communication workflows, distribution lists, committee management, and change management initiatives.

Work Experience|Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Organizational Development, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-8 years experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related field
  • Experience managing internal communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, intranet, email campaigns, newsletters).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to track and report on program success.
  • Ability to manage multiple prominent work projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in public accounting a plus.
  • Ability to travel to office locations.

Organizational Relationships

  • Will report directly to Performance Manager who will provide any necessary guidance relative to work performance through the formal evaluation process.
