Coweta Dentistry is looking for an insurance coordinator to join our team!

At Coweta Dentistry – we want to be a community that people want to join. We are looking for long-term relationships with our teams, our patients, and our communities.

As an Insurance Coordinator, you will ensure the patients insurance is verified thoroughly and in a timely manner. The IC communicates with the front office team when patients are maxed out or ineligible for services. The IC calls patients to get updated insurance information when inactive or ineligible. The IC enters data using Dentrix benefit and coverage tables. The IC uploads completed insurance verification forms into patients documents centers.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year experience with dental insurance verification.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
  • Must have experience with Dentrix.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and desk top publishing
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Must pass criminal background check

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of dental/medical terminology and procedure codes.
  • Proficient with data entry.
  • Driven and works with a sense of urgency.
  • Has the ability to multi-task.
  • Professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
