If you're interested in being considered for current and future opportunities, please apply to join our Talent Pool. As assignments become available, we'll reach out if your experience aligns with the need and you're still available. While we review every application, outreach may occur only when an active project arises.

U.S. applicants only (Eastern Time preferred).

Application Requirements
  • 2-3 samples of relevant B2B short-form content (email, web, social, or other marketing copy)
  • Samples should reflect work in industries such as tech, insurance, finance, healthcare, or education
  • Include your desired rate in your cover letter

About the Company

Quatrain is a fully remote, woman-owned content agency that blends strategy, storytelling, and design to create high-impact content. For more than a decade, our team of experienced writers, designers, and content strategists has worked with B2B brands across industries-from education to technology-to craft compelling blog posts, case studies, ebooks, videos, and more.

Position Overview

Quatrain Creative is seeking experienced B2B copywriters for long-term freelance partnerships. This role focuses on short-form, conversion-driven content across multiple client accounts. Assignments may include marketing emails, web copy, landing pages, sales sheets, one-pagers, slide decks, social posts, ads, and other brand and sales enablement materials.

Many of our clients operate in the tech space, so you should be comfortable learning complex concepts and translating them into clear, persuasive messaging. You'll often write for C-suite executives and decision-makers who may not have technical backgrounds.

This is a remote, per-project freelance opportunity. Reliability, proactive communication, and consistent adherence to deadlines are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Write, edit, and proofread conversion-focused copy across email, web, sales collateral, slide decks, social media, and ads
  • Develop channel-specific messaging tailored to each platform and audience
  • Create compelling, action-oriented copy that aligns with client goals and brand voice
  • Collaborate with client marketing and product teams to ensure messaging accuracy and alignment
The ideal candidate:
  • Has 3-5+ years of experience writing B2B marketing copy (agency experience preferred)
  • Is comfortable working directly with clients and participating in video calls
  • Works independently and can synthesize interviews, briefs, and source materials into strategic messaging
  • Delivers polished, client-ready copy with minimal need for revisions
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with our content team
  • Adheres to brand voice, tone, and style guidelines (AP Style proficiency required)
  • Asks thoughtful questions and clarifies ambiguity early
  • Quickly builds working knowledge of new or technical subject matter
  • Has experience writing for niche B2B audiences, including senior executives
  • Understands content marketing strategy, buyer journeys, and distribution channels
  • Is fluent in written and spoken English
  • Has working knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword integration
  • Possesses excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
  • Agency experience supporting multiple client accounts
  • Experience working with B2B clients in tech, education, finance, or related industries
  • Ability to lead productive client calls and contribute to messaging strategy
  • Familiarity with marketing tools, analytics, and performance metrics
