Pinckney Carter, a Member of Correll Insurance Group has an immediate need for a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager at our office in North Charleston, SC. ย 

Job Summary:
The Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager will assist the Commercial Lines Account Management team in the production and service of new and existing accounts. Including professional customer service and all related functions of support for the book of business to which you are assigned. Process applications for, changes to, reinstatement of, and cancellation of insurance policies. Duties include reviewing insurance applications to ensure that all questions have been answered, compiling data on insurance policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, etc., and verifying the accuracy of insurance company records.ย 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enter detail for new business applications as needed.
  • Setup Templates for Certificates of Insurance.ย 
  • Process change requests to the carrier and endorsements received from the carrier.
  • Process incoming requests for additional information from the carriers.
  • Prepare renewal kits and forward to clients for updated information.
  • Prepare and assist with renewal Summaries & Proposals.
  • Assist with loss run requests.
  • Set up insuredโ€™s policy booklet.
  • Modify, update, and process existing policies and claims to reflect any changes.ย 
  • Process and record new insurance policies and claims. ย 
  • Review and verify data, such as age, name, address, and principal sum and value of property on insurance applications and policies.
  • Maintaining files for each policyholder.ย 
  • Correspond with insured or agent to obtain information or inform them of account status or changes.ย 
  • Other responsibilities as needed to support the Commercial Lines Account Management team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High school diploma required, Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
  • Have at least 1 year working experience preferred in the insurance industry as clerical/customer service
  • Hold current and valid Property and Casualty Insurance license or able to obtain one within 6 months of accepting the position
  • Possess a supportive and responsive manner with internal and external customers
  • Possess above average computer skills, existing proficient is strongly preferred in various needed programs, such as AMS360, ImageRight, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to set up and conduct meetings in a virtual environment such as Teams and Zoom including the ability to share screens and make presentations (ex. PowerPoint, Proposals, etc.)
