COMMERCIAL LINES ASSISTANT ACCOUNT MANAGER

2 HYBRID ROLES OPEN!! We are seeking 2 x experienced Commercial Insurance Assistant Account Managers for a hybrid role in the Philadelphia suburbs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the commercial insurance account manager team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial Lines Account Management team across a variety of job functions.
  • Assist in reviewing policies and working with carriers, as well as billing and invoicing.
  • Analyze client insurance programs and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements or adjustments
  • Identify gaps in coverage including account rounding, cross selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Identify pricing discrepancies
  • Help prepare proposals
  • Help process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and development of new insurance products to identify potential business opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current property and casualty license
  • 1-2+ Years of experience preferred in commercial lines related role
  • Background in assistant underwriting or assistant account management with a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
