Job Description: GRL Account Manager

Are you a natural hunter who thrives on hustle, grit, and results? As a GRL Account Manager, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to medical providers across an assigned geographic area, with a relentless drive to grow your territory. Your role involves identifying new opportunities, onboarding and supporting clients, and building long-lasting relationships. This is a high-energy, field-based role where you'll be on the move — traveling frequently to meet with current and prospective clients to drive growth and deliver real impact.


Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Retention:

  • Identify and target healthcare providers in relevant specialties.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently onboard new accounts.
  • Act as a strategic hunter — constantly prospecting and seizing new opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships to ensure retention and account growth.

Account Management:

  • Conduct regular in-person visits (minimum monthly) to assigned accounts.
  • Provide ongoing education and updates about company services and testing protocols.
  • Deliver staff training on sample submission, GENuine Portal use, online requisitions, and more.

Operational Support:

  • Ensure accurate collection, shipping, supply management, and device expiration tracking.
  • Coordinate with our Customer Experience Team as needed.
  • Conduct routine in-services and troubleshooting visits.

Laboratory Care Specialist (LCS) Support (if applicable by state):

  • Assist with hiring, training, compliance checks, and performance feedback.
  • Support onsite collection and account coverage as necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Assist Account Managers with specimen issues, billing, or claims.
  • Provide Monthly Marketing Action Plans (MAPs) and Quarterly strategic updates.
  • Partner with internal teams on materials, billing, pickups, and competitive strategy.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to all Media Labs SOPs, HIPAA standards, EKRA guidelines, and CRM reporting expectations.
