Position Summary

We're hiring a Personal Lines Insurance Account Executive to support a growing insurance agency. This role is responsible for managing and retaining the agency's house account book of personal lines business while delivering a proactive, consultative client experience. This role serves as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts, overseeing renewal strategy, coverage recommendations, and account growth. The Account Executive operates with guidance and support from the Senior Account Executive and partners closely with Account Managers to ensure accurate execution and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities listed below represent the primary duties of this position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Manage a large house account book of personal lines clients, serving as the primary point of contact

  • Lead renewal strategy and proactive coverage reviews for assigned accounts

  • Conduct consultative client conversations to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions

  • Drive retention and organic growth through coverage enhancements, cross-selling, and referrals

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure timely and accurate processing of renewals, endorsements, and policy changes

  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters

  • Document client interactions, coverage recommendations, and decisions in accordance with agency and compliance standards

  • Escalate complex coverage, underwriting, or client concerns to the Senior Account Executive when appropriate

  • Follow established workflows and service standards to ensure consistency across the house account book

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Must obtain or possess Kansas/Missouri Property & Casualty License and Kansas/Missouri Life & Health

  • 3+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of personal auto, homeowners, umbrella, and related personal linesproducts

  • Experience managing a high-volume or large book of business

  • Strong communication, organization, and client relationship skills

  • Must have valid driver's license

  • CISR, CIC or other insurance related designations are preferred
