About this Role:
The Insights team is looking for a motivated individual with a mixed-methods research background to serve as an Insights Manager. This person will be responsible for executing large strategic research studies across GoodRx's consumer product offerings, as well as delivering relevant analytics and technical support to the team, as needed. Specifically, this person will be responsible for:
  • Product and Audience Research: Designing and executing complex research studies that inform the development and continued optimization of GoodRx's subscription services and Core product offerings.
  • Measurement: Managing longitudinal CSAT/NPS and other KPI studies for ongoing internal and external reporting across all GoodRx product offerings.
  • BI/Analytics Support: Delivering analytics support to the Insights team, as needed, working in Redshift, Tableau and Lookr to pull customer data and develop relevant dashboards.

This individual's primary focus will be the end-to-end delivery of iterative research studies, which will require:
  • Leveraging multiple primary and secondary quantitative data sets to answer key questions, ensuring a holistic analysis of problems and potential insights.
  • Managing the execution of research studies, including sampling, data collection, cleaning and weighting to ensure the highest level of data quality;
  • Data analysis, including cross tabulation and dashboard creation to generate meaningful findings; and,
  • Report development, specifically creating meaningful but digestible reports that clearly communicate findings to non-research audiences (e.g. senior leadership, sales, product, design).

The ideal candidate for this position is:
  • A strategic thinker who can translate data into insights that address business needs;
  • A research powerhouse with a strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods, who can also easily blend primary and secondary inputs to enrich their findings;
  • A self-starter who delivers research quickly and independently, and takes initiative when they see research opportunities.
  • A story-teller who can communicate findings in a compelling, meaningful way.
  • A business-minded researcher who understands how data can inform product development and revenue creation.
  • A researcher who deals well with ambiguity and can operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • An AI-curious researcher who has leveraged AI tools to improve research efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years of professional experience in consumer/user experience research or analytics and a Bachelor's degree or 6 years of experience and a Masters degree.
  • Extensive experience with survey design, sampling, weighting and basic statistical analysis is required.
  • Expertise in Alchemer or Qualtrics is required.
  • Experience with Dscout, UserInterviews, or similar qual tool.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Redshift, and Tableau is required.
  • Presentation building skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides) and a good eye for concise data visualization.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to synthesize findings for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in AI research tools is preferred but not required.

The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors.
